Dimapur, October 9 (MExN): A visionary sees the needs, feels the need, shares the need and goes a mile ahead of others to serve the needs stated ABAM, WD Secretary Temsula Lemtur during the culmination service of 4th Ao Baptist Church Council, Women Department Conference. Speaking on the theme “Aspiration of Ao Women in witnessing” she called upon the women to reach out and rebuilt home deeply rooted in the word of God, informed a press note.
The note stated that Akala, Lecturer CTC call upon the Ao churches to come out from the niche preferential option for male candidate. Stating that ministry is not based on profession, tradition and culture but ministry is based on vocation. Mar Pongen later in the programme said Holistic mission is not just prayers and active participation in church but it consist of action. He challenged the women to stand up to exorcise the evils in the society. The conference was attended by 1500 delegates from 132 Ao churches and two fellowship.
