Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has informed that an ME, beige coloured Alto (LXI) which was snatched off by miscreants on September 2 has been delivered to the rightful owner “Mr & Mrs Durga” Joyti Gogoi of DC colony, Diphu, Assam on September 8. The owner claimed the vehicle by producing valid documents. The registration number of the vehicle is AS 02G 33 87, chassis No. MA3EAA61S01734412 and engine No F8DN4497232, informed a press note appended by (SO) office assistant, UT-I, GPRN/NSCN A.Tokato Chophy.
ZYF and JTYO condemns barbaric incident
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): With condemnation from different section of the society pouring in, the Zeliangrong Youth Front (Nagaland) and Jalukie Town Youth Organization (JTYO) have also condemned in the strongest term; the cowardly September 3 incident in which Lohru Pao of Jalukielo village was shot and slain on his way to field by some miscreants. ‘The unpleasant act is extremely coward and barbaric; no civilization will tolerate such crime. The concerned authority has to let justice done at the earliest by booking the culprits and punishing them, failing which the organizations will be compelled to take its own course of action and for which the organizations will not be held responsible’, the joint press report stated. The organizations have appealed concerned authority for full cooperation and speedy action in bringing justice at the earliest.
Minor girl molested, attempted rape
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): According to a press note issued by the Shena Old Union Dimapur Area (SOUDA), one Vitouzo Sekhose allegedly molested and attempted rape on a seven year minor girl on September 8 at around 4:30 pm at Water Supply Colony, Chumukedima. The accused reportedly called the victim and took her to his bathroom where he allegedly molested and attempted rape. While condemning the barbaric and inhuman act, SOUDA Chairman Hoiro Kitshka and Secretary Inato Achumi, the Union also appeals to all right thinking citizens to condemn such acts in the society. Further, the Union demanded the concern authority not to bail out the accused in any circumstances. The Union also extended gratitude to Chumukedima Mothers’ Association and Hd GB of Chumukedima for timely intervention.
Parents’ day observed in Jalukie Christian School

A grand observance together with the parents and guardians of Christian School students Jalukie was held on Saturday, 10th September at the school premise. Speaking on the occasion, the Headmaster A.N. Mishra emphasized on the need for a healthier parent-teacher relationship for the welfare of the student community. He also urged the parents to keep a close watch over the academic performance and activities of their children at home and to directly address their grievances by coming to the school office. The Proprietor of the school, Shri Mongzeung Mpom while insisting on holistic development of the students, said parents share great responsibility together with the teachers in the all-round development of the students. The proprietor also assured to introduce a formal music class and uplift sports in the coming academic year. Earlier, a welcome speech was conveyed by Shri Victor, Assistant Headmaster, while several parents also shared their concern and gratitude. The item-packed programme which saw a huge turnout of parents, also witnessed several entertainment programmes from the students of the school.
Chishilimi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society clarifies
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): On the allegation by ANCSF that the Chief Project Officer and staff of ICDP Zunheboto has misused financial assistance granted to Chishilimi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society, Zunheboto, the society has clarified that the amount sanctioned to the society have been received without any discrepancy. “Our society has successfully implemented the project with grant given by the ICSP and we would like to further acknowledge the CPO and the staff of Zunheboto on their tireless effort to uplift the societies prevailing under Zunheboto,” stated a press note appended by its chairman Ahovi Sumi. Also, the society in the note has apologized to the Chief Project Officer and staff of ICDP Zunheboto over the issue.
