Sachin Pilot to inaugurate Nagaland State Data Centre
Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): Union Minister of State for Communication & Information Technology, Sachin Pilot will be visiting Nagaland on September 16. The Minister will inaugurate the Nagaland State Data Centre, the Directorate of Science & Technology and Regional Institute of e-learning and Information Technology (RIELIT). The Minister will also launch the UIDAI Aadhar enrolment through post offices for all the Northeast states from Kohima, informed a press note issued by secretary to Government of Nagaland K T Sukhalu IAS.
AI departure timing revised
Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): The Station Master of Air India Ltd Dimapur has informed in a press note that due to operational reason, the departure timing on September 15 has been revised. Departure time of AI 9752/15 Sep (Dimapur/Guwahati) has been revised to 1130hrs. Hence all joining passengers of AI 9752/15 Sep for Guwahati are requested to report at Dimapur Airport at 1000hrs.
NSCN/GPRN mourns cadre’s demise
Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN has mourned the demise of Kolensing Lamkang, son of Kamnong Lamkang of Nungkangching village of Khurmi Region, who died on September 14 after a prolong illness. The Central Administrative Officer of Khurmi Region ib a condolence note stated that Kolensing joined the national service in the year 2000 and had his training at A/C Battalion. He started his service as ‘office assistant-1’ and later on he was assigned in the Khurmi Region as Region Office-in-charge in 2006. He also served as ‘leacy’. “For the service rendered for the Naga political cause and giving his best for the nation Kolensing's name will be recorded in the Naga history.We pray that God give strength and comfort to the bereaved family members at this hour of grief and sorrow. May his soul rest in peace,” the note said.
