AKD new executive members elected

Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): The Angami Krotho Delhi has informed in a press note that it has elected its executive members for the term 2011 – 2012. Theyiesinuo Keditsu as president of AKD, Thejavituo Sekhose as president of ASUD, Zhapuvi Liegise as vice president, Lhousino Sale as general secretary, Visuno Kechü as assistant general secretary, Dr. Ajano Iralu as finance secretary,
Vivozolie Rutsa as cultural secretary, Khriemeno Naprantsu as assistant cultural secretary, Melvin Yhome as games & sports secretary, Christina Dzüvichü as assistant games & sports secretary, Rüvuokhrienuo Miachieo as women coordinator, Visieno Kiso as assistant women coordinator and Viskhoto Thorie as information secretary.

NNC resolves

Dimapur, September 16 (MExN):
The Naga National Council has resolved once again to stand on the Naga inhabited areas as the “Parent Body”, which was declared from the very inception of its political struggle for freedom of recognition - “14th August 1947 Naga Independence and the Naga National Voluntary Plebiscite of 16th May 1951”.Therefore,the NNC will always seek the final political settlement on this basis of Indo-Naga-Burma political settlement of all the Naga inhabited areas of South East Asian Region .
A press note issued by Information & Publicity Wing, Naga National Council stated that the NNC also once again reaffirms the leadership of working president of NNC ‘gen.(Rtd)’  I.Panger, vice president of NNC Royim Yimchungru, vice president of NNC Keviche Kintso, general secretary of NNC V.Nagi and joint secretary of NNC  S.Ezung “in the Home front to seek political settlement of Naga political struggle for freedom of recognition on the basis of Indo-Naga-Burma of the whole Naga inhabited  areas of the Region”.
“The Naga political struggle for freedom of recognition is international and therefore should be settle internationally. Therefore, the NNC appeal all the Naga Political Groups to seek final political settlement on this basis of our rights (sic),” the note said.
