Rescheduling of AI flight

Dimapur, October 10 (MExN):
The Station Manager of Air India Ltd Dimapur has informed that due to operational reason, the following departure ex Dimapur is revised on October 11 (Tuesday).Departure time of AI 9752 (Dimapur/Guwahati) is revised to 1135HRS.Hence all joining passengers of AI 9752 for Guwahati are requested to report at Dimapur Airport at 1000HRS for check-in formalities.

ATAN asks members to report

Dimapur, October 10 (MExN):
All the members of the Aggrieved Teachers Association Nagaland (ATAN) who received the show-cause notice for the second time are directed to report to the ATAN’s office along with the required necessary documents. The office is behind the Wheel Station shop, Purana Bazar in Dimapur, the ATAN informed today. They are to report on or before October 16, 2011. Artificial limps fitting camp today

Dimapur, October 10 (MExN):
Rotary Club of Dimapur has informed to all the beneficiaries that the artificial limps fitting camp (whose measurement was taken on August 27, 2011) will be held on October 11 at Rotary Centre, Midland, P.W.D.Road in Dimapur.  Persons whose measurement was taken are cordially requested to be present on October 11 at Rotary Centre, Dimapur , informed a press note.

One arrested

Dimapur, October 10 (MExN):
In another major haul of illegal liquor, the MVCP of the 20th Assam Rifles on October 9, 2011 recovered a total of 682 cases of assorted IMFL and beer from a Tata truck bearing Regd No. NL 02 D-4276 near Piphema Village, NH-29. A press note issued by the Superintend of Excise & Prohibition Dimapur, Pitongse Sangtam stated that in this connection, the accused/driver one Kehousetuo was arrested and was later handed over the excise department, Dimapur along with the seized article and the vehicle. Basing on the report of the investigating officer, the accused person was penalized as per the relevant sections of the NLTP Act 1989 and the contraband items confiscated and deposited in the Excise Malkhana.

GPRN/NSCN condoles

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 10 (MExN):
Lieutenant Cholem Chang, a dedicated Naga Army Officer, son of Imlongchaba Chang, who joined the Naga Army in 2011, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the night of 9th October 2011. This was stated in a press note from the MIP. The patriotism, loyalty and commitment he exhibited during his 3 months assignment in the Ato Kilonser's security staff was exemplary, the press note stated adding that he was was a brave soldier who had all his future in front of him. His untimely death is a great loss for Chang Region in particular and the Naga Army in general. Naga history will cherish his faithful service rendered to the Nation, the MIP note stated.
