GCC Thanksgiving Concert today

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): 
The Golden Crown College (GCC) has organized a Thanksgiving Concert 2011 on October 14, 4:00 pm. Welcome address will be delivered by Director of GCC  Rev Dr Nzan Odyuo and dedication of the B Steiner (German) piano by former minster Thomas Ngullie.

ADC informs

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN):
The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur Tarep Imchen, who is also the District SECC 2011 officer has informed to the government servants who were appointed as master trainers, supervisors and enumerators for the coming socio-economic and caste census 2011 for Diampur district shall perform this crucial and time-bound national duty with effect from the date of appointment till the exercise is over. The ADC in a press note stated that any lapses of duty shall be noted and appropriate action shall be taken against such census functionaries as per the provision of the law.

Biometric enrolment for today

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN):
The Dimapur Municipal Council has informed to the households of various colonies under DMC ward No 2 that Biometric enrolment shall be carried out from October 14 to 17 in DDSC ground, Dimapur from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The households of ward No 2 are requested to come forward for said biometric enrolment positively. Also, the supervisors, enumerators, GBs and colony chairman/secretaries are requested to supervise the same, informed a press note.

ATI and YN to launch RTI campaign today

Kohima, October 13 (MExN):
The Administrative Training Institute (ATI) in partnership with YouthNet will launch RTI campaign for youth and colleges in Kohima at ATI building on 14 October at 10 am under the theme “Youth for Transparency and good governance-The Kohima Campaign”. A press release issued by Director ATI V. Shanshank Shekhar and Director YouthNet, Hekani Jakhalu stated that the two main purpose of this campaign is to empower youth/students to become active members in the society towards checking corruption and secondly, to assist the government in bringing transparency, accountability and good governance. After the launch, a team of RTI experts will visit all the colleges within Kohima where the students taking part in the launching programme will be the facilitators during the college visit seminars, it added. Further it also stated that if any common transportation arrangement can be initiated by/among the correspondents/scribes of Kohima to attend the programme. To and fro expenditure will be borne by ATI.
