Meeting of NPF life membership

Kohima, Oct 18 (MExN):
A special meeting of the NPF life membership cell will be held on November 9 at 2:00 PM at the Party’s HQ office, Kohima. NPF President Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will address the meeting. Stating this in a release, NPF life membership cell chairman Pinyimthung Lotha requested all the concerned members to attend the same positively.

AGBCN to hold door to door evangelism

Dimapur, October 18 (MExN):
Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) Church & Mission Department is organizing three days “Door to Door evangelism” with the theme “Jesus the living water” from October 28 to 30, 2011 at Khekiho, Dayapur and Ganeshnagar, Dimapur among the Gorkha community living in these areas. A press note issued by Rudra Ramauli, Church & Mission Secretary of AGBCN stated that the main focus of the program is to reach this group of people with the gospel.  It was also mentioned that highlights of the program besides door to door visiting from 6:00 am onwards would be gospel service every evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, gospel film show every evening from 7:00 pm, prayer and counseling service.

Longleng BLOs and administrative officers informed

Dimapur, October 18 (MExN):
All BLOs and administrative officers are directed to strictly list out all expired, shifted, multiple, under age, bogus names from the electrical roll and delete them during the summary revision 2011. This is in view of the high percentage of electors vis a vis population almost in all the villages/polling stations both in 49 Tamlu and 50 A/C Longleng and as agreed upon in a serried of meetings held with all the political parties, tribal apex bodies, NGOs, public on October 7 and 17, 2011 with election observer. This was informed in a press note issued by K.Libanthung Lotha, deputy commissioner & DEO Longleng.  Further, all BLOs and administrative officers are directed to compare the percentage of electors vis a vis population of each village (a copy enclosed herewith) and take necessary action as directed by Election Commission of India. Further, all administrative officers of Longleng district are directed to visit all the villages if possible and supervise the BLOs accordingly. Failing of which the responsibility shall be held by the respective Administrative and BLOs.  
 
NPCC welcomes new Mahila President
 
Dimapur, October 18, (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) appreciated Sonia Gandhi, President AICC for appointing N. Lucy as the new President of Nagaland Pradesh Mahila Congress. Vaprumu Demo, general secretary, NPCC congratulated the newly appointed president in a press release and added that the NPCC gain further strength under her leadership. The NPCC has also appreciated the former NPMC President Atsole Wazah for the selfless contribution and sacrifice she has made for the party over a decade.
 
Air India flights combined for today

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 18 (MExN):
The Station Manager Air India Ltd. Dimapur has informed that due to operational reason the following Air India flights on 19th October are being combined. The AI9702/19OCT for Dimapur/Kolkata is combined with AI709. The departure ex-Dimapur is at 1155 HRS. Reporting time for check-in formalities will start at 1015 HRS.
 
anaata informs on show cause notice

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 18 (MExN):
All members of All Nagaland Aggrieved Adhoc Teacher Association (ANAATA) who have submited their documents for recent show cause notice reply are directed to append their signature on 21st Oct.2011 at DIS office premises, Dimapur and on 25th Oct.2011 at Kohima. This was stated in a press note issued by Solomon Ennio.
