Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): Petroleum & Land Transport Workers’ Federation of India (PLTWFI) has informed all the member drivers who had earlier applied for insurance of 1 lakh amount i.e. 4th and 5th batch that the member’s card is ready. Therefore, all the insured members are requested to obtain their insurance Identity Card from the Information Sub-Centre.
CSU Union Assembly on July 15
Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The Union Assembly of the Chakhesang Students’ Union has summoned the 5th Union Assembly on July 15 at Conclave Conference Hall, LCS Building, Midland, Kohima at 11:00 am. The house will deliberate on the union activities/ programs and the issues confronting within the Chakhesang community in general and students in particular. The Assembly Secretary Dapulu Lea in a press release has informed that two representatives from each affiliated Units/ Subordinate bodies are compulsory to attend. Absentees will be dealt with as per the resolution of the 1st Union Assembly.
DIS Kiphire co-ordination meeting
Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The co-ordination meeting of ANSTA/Ministerial staffs/DMA staffs and SISs under the establishment of Deputy Inspector of Schools, Kiphire was held on June 29 at Quarry Road. DIS Kiphire Y. Shahoto Yim in a press release said that the 24 points of ‘adoption of Office Proceeding Manual’ has been adopted. SMA (SSA) persons attended the meeting and urged the concerned department to have more coordination and accountability. The programme was chaired by N. Sachu, SIS and invocation by Kipitong, SIS. The keynote address was delivered by Y Shahoto Yim, Deputy Inspector of School, Kiphire while short speeches were delivered by Chipong, SIS, Selichem, H/A and Kiritong ADC (DMA) SSA. The programme concluded with benediction by Litingse, SIS.
ANA annual conference on July 16
Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The Association of Nagaland Architects (ANA) has convened its annual conference on July 16 at Niathu Resort at 6:00 pm. ANA president K Kent in a press release has requested all the members to attend the programme. Also architects not registered in ANA are requested to register on the day. Programme followed by dinner.
Mkg DPDB meeting postponed
Mokokchung, July 11 (DIPR): Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board meeting scheduled to be held on July 11 has been postponed to July 15. The meeting will be held in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall at 1100 hours. All members are informed to take note of the date and time and attend the meeting positively.
New committee for LAWC
Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The Lower Agri Ward council, after the tenure for old office bearers came to an end on June 11, set up a search committee of five members headed by V Kehie as Convener. As a result, new batch of office bearers were appointed for the following Atuo Kapfo: Chairman, Imna Jamir : Vice Chairman, Neitho-o Kose : General Secretary, Nyamnyei : Joint Secretary and K. Kinyü Solo : Treasurer. In a press release Nyamnyei, Joint secretary LAWC, mentioned that this election was approved and declared by the council, in the general meeting held on June 11 for a term of five years.
UNB Naga Colony Council informs
Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The United North Block (UNB) Naga Colony Council re-organised the council with Chairman Dennis Zeliang, Secretary Lizamo Lotha, finance secretary T. Nungsang Ao and Treasurer Tsalito Sangtam. The Council also recommended Selongba Zeliang, K Amon Kire, L Lima Ao, RK Rongmei and Heitalakpe Zeliang for appointment as GBs. This was informed in a press release issued by the UNB Naga Colony Council.

Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union will convene the handing and taking over of office on July 12 at union Banker Notun Bosti at 10:00 am. In a press note, Vitoka V. Awomi, President DSSU, requested all the newly elected executives and Ex-Office bearers to attend the meeting without fail.

The officials are president-Heiding, vice president-Kanpat, general secretary-Izwalung, joint secretary-Rangsilang, treasurer-Zuwete and executive members cum auditors include Heikedetpe, Paunadi and Kutei.
