APEN appeals NSF & Govt

Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): The Association of Power Engineers Nagaland (APEN) has expressed concern over the “picketing of Chief Engineer’s (Power) Office” which has entered 3rd day.In a press note issued by its president and general secretary stated: “As an essential utility, paralyzing the functioning of the Head Office is affecting the control and monitoring of services across the state.” It has therefore, urged the government and the NSF to resolve the issue without further delay.

ATAN makes appeal on ‘hard earned justice’

Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): ATAN has requested all the Association/Federation/Organization/Union or any individual who ever may be affected due to their placement of service by the Government of Nagaland, to bear with them as they had been displaced for a long period of time depriving of their wages and seniority. “We are also human being in need of job security and financial support for our self, family members and dependants for survival and educational support, therefore we earnestly request the citizens of the State of Nagaland to support the verdict given by the Department of School Education for which we have been trying to materialize since the inception of SIT”, the ATAN Executives stated and requested all citizens not to “snatch away the hard earned justice”.

Zeliang students resolve

Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): The ZSU has decided in an emergency meeting on July 20 to reject in outright the appointment and posting of teachers in schools of various villages under Peren district by the department under the SSA Plan “as if there are no qualified local candidates.” “It is directed that no village authority or VEC shall accept the joining report of these appointed teachers under no circumstance,” stated the ZSU in its statement, appended by ZSU president Iteichu Zeliang, In the backdrop of ‘this outrageous development created by the incompetency of the Education department’, a joint meeting of the ZSU with all chairmen of village councils and Village Education Committees of the schools ‘dragged under this nefarious issue’ is convened for July 26 in Peren Town Hall from 11:00 am. All in concern are directed to be present in the meeting positively, the union informed.

Bank’s adalat for SME borrower

Kohima, July 22 (MExN): The State Bank of India, Kohima branch is organizing Bank’s Adalat for SME Borrowers on July 29 at 10:00  am at Branch premises. The SBI requested all eligible SME borrowers to attend the same on scheduled date and time and avail opportunity to settle their cases.
