Dimapur, August 14 (MExN): All concerned are informed that the Directorate of Technical Education will be issuing nomination letters for JEE 2011 candidates, Engineering Courses, on Thursday, August 18 after 12 noon. All JEE 2011 candidates selected for Engineering Courses are therefore requested to collect their nomination letters on the said date after 12 PM.
ACCC general secretary resigns
Dimapur, August 14 (MExN):A press note issued by one Neica Angami of Peducha Village (Kiruphema) informed that he has resigned from the post of ACCC general secretary (Admn) 8 western Angami Area Constituency Congress and also from both active and primary membership w.e.f August 12. “he reason for the resignation is that I have been elected president, Kiruphema Youth Organisation which is non-political body,” Neica Angami further stated.
Ward chairmen/GBs informed
Kohima, August 14 (DIPR): In view of the Independence Day celebrations at the Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on August 15 at 9:00 AM, SDO (C) Kohima, Wenyyei Konyak has informed all the Ward Panchayat Chairmen, GBs of Kohima town, Village Council Chairmen and GBs of Sadar villages to attend the function without fail.

GHSS Phek honour service of math teacher
Phek, August 14 (DIPR): The Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Phek on August 12 honoured the service Mathematics Teacher SP Raja Durai who had being serving for 25 years in GHSS, Phek. At the function, the Principal Vechisalu Khesoh while congratulating him for attainment of 25 years in teaching profession, said that he is a man of determination and sacrificial for upliftment of the students who had contributed a lot and render tireless effort for the well being of the society for which the school has achieved in many aspect. SP Raja Durai also spoke on the occasion and thanked the school for the honour rendered by them and acknowledged the school authority for letting him plant a tree in the middle of the school premises, which would be a memory after he leaves the school. The function was chaired by Sheto Rhakho GT GHSS, Phek, while Neisakhoyi invoked God’s blessing. All the teachers and students and well wishers attended the function.
