Response on aggrieved teachers' issue demanded

Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): The National Students’ Union of India (Dimapur Unit) has demanded immediate response from the minister of School education over the issue of the aggrieved teachers where the victim happened to be the innocent students. “…spoiling the career of a student is heinous crime and it may invite more unwanted troubles in the long run.”
The NSUI in a press note issued by its president Khrozote Kapfo stated that that issue is important and sensitive as it involves desperate teachers as employment is the only source of their livelihood and their families and the students’ career at stake on the other hand. It added that the matter should have been taken seriously earlier. The SIT which was set up in 2the year 2009, then SVC and the last was DVC followed by the teacher interview taken in the month of Nov-Dec 2010.
This issue has created an history as this issue has been dragged many, many year’s terming it as the longest investigation period and the concern minister should be solely take the blame owing to the this issue (sic),” the note stated. Therefore, the teachers’ examination result be declared at the earliest as many school are running with shortage of teachers, it added.
