Kohima | October 13 : Rotary Club Kohima organized a function cum dinner in honor of Prabhat Kumar Kedia, District Governor, Dist 3240, Rotary International yesterday at hotel grandeur Kohima. Acknowledging the efforts of the Rotary club Kohima for reaching out to the needy persons and for initiating various projects, Kedia urged to work together to being changes in the state and also to continue in the service of the needy people.
He also opined that it is the responsible of every member to contribute to Rotary foundation whether the amount is huge or less terming rotary foundation as the best trust globally. Kedia also urged the Rotarians to increase the members of the club and also to retain the former Rotarians.
He extended invitation to the Rotarians to attend District conference to be held next January 6-8 at Guwahati also the Rotary International Convention to be held at Bangkok from 6-9 May 2012 The Governor was accompanied by Naslul Islam, chairman of district award committee Guwahati and Rotarians from Dimapur.
The governor also pinned Dr. Asalie Angami as new member of the club. The programme was chaired by Impalong Longkumer PHF while Kezhokhoto Savi delivered welcome address. The District governor is scheduled to visit Imphal and Mokokchung.
