Imphal | October 18 Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh on Tuesday said the demand of Sadar Hills Districthood Demand Committee to declare a full-fledged district before the forthcoming elections to the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly is now seriously under discussion.
The chief minister stated this while he was interacting with the eight Autonomous District (ADC) members who have been elected uncontested in the recent re-poll during a felicitation meeting at the ADC office here today.
He said, "The ADC members are also willing to serve the people for their welfare but due to some kind of misunderstanding coming up amongst us, we are facing the present situation with the ADC. It would return to normalcy when it begins functioning in full swing."
