Tuensang, October 23 (MExN): The Department of Botany at Sao Chang College, Tuensang organised a skill-based chilly pickle workshop for B.A. 1st semester students under the Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) to foster hands-on skills, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Tekameren Walling, Head of the Department, emphasised the importance of such skill-based learning for employability and career growth, a press release stated.

The resource person, Yangtikhum Sangtam, demonstrated two methods of chilly pickle preparation, raw and fried, while highlighting key aspects of hygiene, spice mixing, and preservation techniques.
A total of 33 students and 9 faculty members participated in the workshop. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Tongpangkokla Chang, Assistant Professor.

Participants described the workshop as both enjoyable and informative, with all respondents reporting a significant enhancement of their practical skills.
