KOHIMA, MAY 21 (MExN): The Nagaland State Election Commission has approved the appointment of T Lemlila Sangtam, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Chümoukedima, as the Returning Officer for the conduct of the election to Ward 11 (Chaara) of the Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC).
According to an order issued by the State Election Commission, the appointment was made in partial modification of the Commission’s earlier order dated April 27, 2026, and based on a communication received from the Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima on May 20, 2026.
The order stated that the ADC was designated by the Deputy Commissioner for the conduct of the election and that the Commission had approved the appointment “with immediate effect.”
