DIMAPUR | SEPTEMBER 17 : Seven contestants including a “special green card” entrant have made it to the most crucial round of Season-3 of ‘Kids for Fame’ 2011.
Based on public voting and judges voting round, the seven contestants who have made it to the crucial stage in order of numbers of votes accumulated are Zuchobeni (contestant no. 11), Tiasola Imchen (no. 19), Meyinaro (no. 8), Vilnu Sharon Kin (no. 15), Gifty (no. 6), Nchumthung (no. 3) and the special green card entrant Fable S Ao (no. 2)
The announcement –cum- live performance of the seven finalists from the eleven contestants was held at IMC Hall Saturday evening with Ruth Chang s the hostess of the evening show.
The three judges - Kashito Kiba of Pheto Music Association, first Naga Idol Moanunssang and Nagaland Chamber Choir member Jethro Merry – had a tough time in choosing the wild card entrant; before Fable emerged the favourite.
The next round to choose the top three finalists will be held on October 1 at IMC Hall, Dimapur.
It may be mentioned the ultimate winner of ‘Kids for Fame’, a vocal talent hunt for children between 13-17 years, will receive Rs. 2 lakh cash and one year educational scholarship.
The contest organized by Pheto Music Association is held every two years.
