Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Red Ribbon Club (RRC), in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of St Joseph University (SJU), Chümoukedima, organised a slogan competition on HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) awareness on September 29 as part of the ongoing IEC Intensified Campaign 3.0.
The competition aimed to raise awareness among students on HIV and STIs and encourage safe, responsible and healthy practices. Students participated by presenting slogans focusing on HIV/STI prevention, responsible health practices, accurate health information and the need for a supportive and stigma-free environment.
The entries were evaluated on relevance to the theme, originality, clarity, creativity and effectiveness of the message. The activity also sought to strengthen students' understanding of HIV/STI prevention and highlight the importance of an informed and discrimination-free community.
Winners of the competition were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates for their entries and participation.
