CHÜMOUKEDIMA, OCTOBER 7 (MExN): Students of St Joseph University, in collaboration with e-Circle and WEN Nagaland, organised a flash mob waste management awareness drive at the bustling WENN Bazaar in CT Square on September 4.

The high-energy performance combined choreography and environmental messaging, drawing attention from shoppers and passersby while highlighting the need for better solid and e-waste management practices.

Following the flash mob, students delivered a short presentation on the impact of improper waste disposal on the environment and public health.

The campaign featured thought-provoking slogans such as “Waste isn’t waste until you waste it,” “Sort it right, keep it bright,” and “Together we can trash the trash,” displayed on placards and integrated into the performance.

Organisers urged the public to adopt responsible waste habits, support local recyclers, and promote community-led action for sustainable waste management.

The awareness drive served as a creative platform to inspire environmental responsibility and strengthen community participation in building a cleaner and more sustainable Nagaland.
