Dimapur, July 23 (MExN): Two teachers have been appointed to the non-existent Sovima ‘F’ Government Primary School.
The village council expressing its amazement over the appointment in a press note issued by its secretary Ruokuosilie stated: “The Sovima village had submitted necessary particulars to the DMA/SSA section, for opening of New Primary School at Sovima “F” Sector (khel) but due to incomplete formalities for GPS School our request was kept under abeyance. And now it is shocking to learn that two teachers were posted at GPS Sovima F reference your order No ED/EST/B -1/2010/PT-V/PT-V of dated 19th July 2011.”
The note also stated that the two teachers who were appointed without school and unless the government clarifies where and when these two posts of teachers were created it would be difficult for the village authority to accept the joining report of the two recently appointed teachers.
Moreover, it has further appealed to the DSE that if at all GPS is to be established and teachers post to be created then the village authority should have proper knowledge. And has appealed the DSE to give preference to the qualified local inhabitants.
