Stakeholders meet to address cabbage marketing crisis in Razeba

Phek, July 27 (MExN): A stakeholder meeting was held at Zhaveme village under Razeba range in Phek district to explore immediate procurement and marketing linkages for cabbage growers affected by the ongoing marketing crisis in the area, officials said.

The meeting, held on July 24, brought together representatives of village institutions, government departments and private sector partners to facilitate market access for farmers and provide timely support to those affected by the disruption.

Participants described the meeting as a significant step towards operationalising partnerships at the grassroots level to strengthen procurement and marketing arrangements for cabbage growers.

Among those present were District Horticulture Officer (DHO) Phek Kelhouzakie Chielie, Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Razeba Kentsinle Tep, Nature Fuel India founder Nukuzo Phesao, representatives of Sathwaro Farming from Gujarat, Bhavesh P. Bumtariya and Mukundray P. Bumtariya, besides Village Development Board (VDB) secretary, head gaon burahs, village council members and other representatives of village institutions.
