Greenwood Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and King David Higher Secondary School, Medziphema entered the final of the State Level Pre-Subroto Tournament for Under-17 boys after winning their respective semi-final matches at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima on July 22.
In the first semi-final, Greenwood HSS edged Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Hakushang, Tuensang 3-2.
Zhouviku Lam, Lidikhum N. Sangtam and Longoukam Thangeo scored a goal each for Greenwood HSS, while Besu Chingmak and Kaimang Chaolu were on target for GHSS Hakushang.
In the second semi-final, King David HSS outclassed PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School, Thangjam, Tuensang 5-0.

Neisetso Yalie and Medosevi Terhuja scored two goals each, while Khwingtsathvii Peri added one goal to complete the rout.
Earlier in the day, Greenwood HSS defeated PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School, Thangjam 3-1 in a first-round match.
Zhouviku Lam scored twice for Greenwood HSS, while Lidikhum N. Sangtam added the third goal. Pushio netted the lone goal for PM Shri GHSS Thangjam.
In another first-round match, GHSS Hakushang thrashed Cornerstone Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto 5-0.
Mongko Sikum struck a hat-trick, while Nokching Ngaku scored once. The fifth goal came through an own goal by the opposition.
The final of the tournament will be played on July 23.
