Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Union Dimapur has warned its members not to loiter in school or college uniform.
The ENSUD has cautioned the manager or proprietor of business establishments not to entertain any students in uniform, stated a press note appended by its president P Honko Luklem and general secretary Setsipa Sangtam.
The union has informed that it will conduct surprised checking and if any of its members are found indulging in immoral and anti-social activities tarnishing the good image of the eastern people and students as whole will be dealt with severe action.
Also, the union has convened an emergency general meeting with all the eastern students on September 30, 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Auditorium Hall, Dimapur. The ENSUD, therefore request all the college authorities both secular and theological colleges, NU-SASARD & SETAM, paramedical institutes and other private institutes to send three representatives each to the called meeting without fail. Further, the union has constituted its Students’ Grievances Cell with its vice president Manbom Phom as its chairman, assistant general secretary Tonan Yimchunger as its deputy speaker and two women affair secretary as its members.
