Preparation for SWA 30th Wrestling Championship at Rabeza Local Ground.
Kohima, January 15 (MExN): The Secheku Wrestling Association (SWA) under the aegis of Chakhesang Wrestling Association is all set to hold its 30th Wrestling Championship & Under 15 Meet 2026 at Razeba Local Ground on January 17.
Nagaland’s Power & Parliamentary Affairs Minister, KG Kenye will be the special guest while Zhiewezü Thele, Treasury Officer, Dimapur will be the guest of honour.
The Champion in open category will win a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, sponsored by Venüzo Zholia, Member, Collective Leadership NSCN/GPRN.
The 2nd prize at Rs 80000 will be sponsored by Er Chete Lohe, PA to Minister for Power & Parliamentary Affairs. The 3rd position holder will get Rs 60,000, sponsored by Abino Lasuh, (Rtd) Assistant Director (Programme), All India Radio Kohima. The 4th prize stands at Rs 40000, sponsored by Kiezo Teno, Deputy Secretary & Transport officer, Nagaland Civil Secretariat Kohima.
The Champion Under 15 Category will fetch Rs 30,000, sponsored by Weprede Kenye, Entrepreneurs while the 2nd position holder will get Rs 20,000 sponsored by Niivesayi Dziido, Entrepreneur.
3rd position holder will get Rs 15,000, sponsored by Vithele Thele, Graduate Teacher, GHS Mesulumi. The 4th prize at 10000 is sponsored by SWA.
