T20 Winter Cricket Challenge: EYL & Tritons CC enter semi finals

Wokha, January 16 (MExN): EYL and Tritons CC registered wins to enter the semifinals of the ongoing 24th T20 Winter Cricket Challenge at Wokha.

In the first match played between Hurricane CC Vs EYL, Hurricane CC opted to bat first after winning the toss and put up a target of 111 runs losing nine wickets in the 20 overs. The main contributors were Chonben Ezung (23), Renchio Odyuo (20) and Renben Murry (12) for Hurricane CC. 

EYL however managed to reach the target courtesy Abel Shitiri (32 not out) and Nchumthung Ngullie in 19 overs while losing 4 wickets.

Nchumthung Ngullie of EYL was awarded the man of the match award for a contribution of 21 runs, claimed two wickets while bowling.

The match between Tritons CC and GAPYOCC was a one sided affair as Tritons CC scored a huge 195 runs in the first innings. Bikran Rawat of Tritons CC scored 115 runs in 59 deliveries and bagged the man of the match while Bitese contributed 29 runs to the team.

GAPYOCC were all out in 15.3 overs, with Tritons CC winning the match by a huge margin of 128 runs.
