Take up banking as a career: SBI Branch Manager Mon

Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): Ahngjong Mission High School Mon celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 7. PP. Baruah, Branch Manager SBI Mon was the guest of honour, who was accompanied by four SBI staff.
A press note from the head master of the school Minphong Konyak stated that the guest of honour in his speech thanked the school for inviting him to the occasion and encouraged the students to take up banking as a career. He said that anybody from any stream - arts or science can qualify for a job in a bank. He said that the only requirement was the ability to solve difficult problems in a very limited and short time.  
It also mentioned that the branch manager was quite disappointed that "Mon people were very few in this profession" but he  hopes that in near future many will come up and become bankers. He donated five sets of “Hindustan Unilever Pure Filters” to the school.
The school thanked the SBI Mon for their donation to the School in particular and also for its excellent service to the people of Mon.
The note stated that the students presented various songs – solos and duets using musical instruments and sound tracks. Also, the students prepared dinner for the guest and the staff. It was Baruah’s second visit to the School; the first was during Aoleang festival programme on April 1.
