TBHJ freshers’ social prog held

Kohima, June 28 (MExN): The Tyrannus Boys Hostel Jakhama held its annual freshers’ social-cum- legal literacy and awareness programme at the hostel premises on June 24 last.
The programme was graced by Kezhokhoto Savi, advocate and president Nagaland Voluntary Consumer’s Organization as the main speaker.
The awareness programme was conducted in collaboration with Nagaland Legal Services Authority.
Achetla dwelt on Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children), Wapang on RTI, Bangkai Konyak on environment and climate change, Lanusangla on Nagaland Legal Service Authority and Amenla on FIR.
The warden of TBHJ Kuluhol Tase coordinated the entire session.
Speaking on the occasion, Savi said life is a process of going and travelling for excellence and during the process one’s life would be attracted to bad things and good things.
Savi challenged the students that the choice is their but their parents dream is one day they will become someone in the society to be proud of their success.
This is the fourth academic years 2011 -12 of TBHJ with 40 hostellers i.e 2 students in a spacious room with average facilities. Bathrooms and toilets are attached to each row with sufficient water supply. The main annual events of the hostel were fresher’s social, seminar, hostel nite and pre-Christmas celebration,
The location of the hostel building is suiting to good study environment, free from noise, pollution and other disturbances.
A full time warden is strictly maintaining study hours, taking good care of students punctuality, discipline, prayer meeting, career guidance etc. Kitchen staff takes good care of students diet/food regularly giving vegetable in the morning and meat in the evening and egg on Sundays with regular tea in the morning and afternoon.
