ANCSU hails ranking as ‘milestone’ for Nagaland higher education
Chümoukedima, June 29 (MExN): Tetso College located at Sovima, Chümoukedima District has entered into the India Today & MDRA Best Colleges Survey 2026 Top 200 list. The college secured the 198th Rank among the Top Bachelor of Arts Colleges in India 2026, a recognition that places it among the top 200 institutions out of more than 45,000 colleges nationwide.
The All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has hailed the ranking as a landmark moment for higher education in Nagaland, stating that the achievement underscores the growing stature and potential of educational institutions in the region.
The ANCSU described the feat as “not only a significant milestone for Tetso College but also a matter of immense pride for the entire State of Nagaland.”
In a statement issued here, the ANCSU noted that the national recognition is a reflection of the institution's commitment to academic excellence, quality education, and visionary leadership. The union further credited the relentless dedication of the faculty, staff and students for the achievement.
The ANCSU observed that the ranking establishes that institutions from Nagaland can compete with distinction on the national stage. The union expressed confidence that the recognition would serve as a catalyst for even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
