Mokokchung | July 22 : Here is good news for those who loves to read. ‘Timeless Whispers – a collection of short stories’ was released today by Akok Walling, Associate Professor of English, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung.
The book is authored by a Mokokchung based journalist, Longrangty Longchar and is published by the Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur. The book was released in a simple yet grand ceremony at the Black and White Restaurant, Mokokchung, attended by the writer’s close friends and colleagues.
The writer is attached with The Morung Express and is also the co-editor of The Nokinketer, a bilingual tabloid published monthly from Mokokchung.
A compilation of creative writings, the book contains seven short stories, five of which are works of fiction.
The book is priced at Rs.180 apiece and will hit the stands immediately. Born November 30, 1983, the writer himself is an avid reader, loves teaching and holds “Dreams do come true” as his motto in life. ‘Timeless Whispers – a collection of short stories’ is his maiden piece.
