Maligaon, March 4 (MExN): In view of continuous upgradation of infrastructure, the timings of some mail/express trains have been revised at few stations over NF Railway. The trains including 13246 (Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Jalpaiguri) Capital Express, 13248 (Rajendra Nagar Terminal-Kamakhya) Express, 15484 (Delhi-Alipurduar) Sikkim Mahananda Express and 07526 New Bongaigaon-Siliguri Jn DEMU special have been speeded up to reduce the journey time. Under the jurisdiction of NF Railway, journey times of these trains have been reduced up to 24 minutes.
Accordingly, timings of train No. 13246 Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Jalpaiguri Capital Express have been revised at Labha, Khurial, Azamnagar Road, Barsoi Jn., Sudhani, Telta, Dalkhola, Kishanganj, Thakurganj and Bagdogra stations w.e.f. March 9. The train will depart Labha at 07:47 hours instead of 07:58 hours and depart Baghdogra at 11:17 hours instead of 11:52 hours.
Timings of train No. 13248 Ranjendra Nagar Terminal-Kamakhya Express have been revised at Labha, Khurial, Azamnagar Road, Barsoi Jn., Sudhani, Telta, Dalkhola, Kishanganj, Thakurganj, Bagdogra, Siliguri Jn., New Mal Jn., Binnaguri, Dalgaon, Hasimara and Alipurduar Jn. stations w.e.f. March 8. The train will depart Labha at 07:47 hours instead of 07:58 hours and depart Alipurduar Jn at 16:20 hours instead of 16:33 hours.
Timings of train No. 15484 Delhi-Alipurduar Jn. Sikkim Mahananda Express have been revised at Katihar Jn., Labha, Azamnagar Road, Barsoi Jn., Dalkhola, Kishanganj, Aluabari Road, Thakurganj, Bagdogra, Siliguri Jn., New Mal Jn., Binnaguri, Dalgaon, Hasimara and Alipurduar Jn. stations w.e.f. March 8. The train will depart Katihar Jn at 09:35 hours instead of 09:50 hours to reach Alipurduar at 20:20 hours.
Again, timings of train No. 07526 New Bongaigaon – Siliguri Jn DEMU special have been revised at New Bongaigaon, Dangtal, Basugaon, Salakati, Kokrajhar, Fakiragram Jn, Sapatgram, Tipkai, Monglajhora, Basbari, and Moterjhar stations w.e.f. March 10. The train will depart New Bongaigaon at 06:00 hours and will arrive Moterjhar at 07:40 hours.
“It is expected that the revised timings will help in better train operations over NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details of train running status and schedule on real time basis at National Train Enquiry System (NTES) before undertaking their journey,” Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release.
