
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The Tangkhul Naga Baptist Convention (TNBC) has conveyed its heartiest congratulation to Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, Convenor of Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) on his winning of the Prestigious Baptist World Alliance 2011 Denton and Janice Lotze Human Rights Award on July 9 2011 at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.
“It is the symbol of respect, support and recognition of the plight of the Nagas by Baptist Christian communities under Baptist World Alliance of not less than 120 countries around the world. The TNBC hereby express heartfelt gratitude to BWA for their moral and Prayer supports towards the Naga Reconciliation process under FNR,” the TNBC stated in a press note issued by the general secretary of TNBC Rev. Ephraim Shaiza.
The note also mentioned: Dr. Wati and members of FNR have done what is called for. They have served and will continue to serve the Naga Society with highest conviction and dedication to fulfil and honour the desire of God who sends us in this past of the world. May God continue to bless them. May God also help the Nagas to draws the best conclusion of the protracted Naga crisis by transforming this new spirit of Peace, Reconciliation and Unity into a formidable Naga strength of the 21st century. It is the right time for the Nagas to reconcile each other on the basis of Love and Hope, as God reconciled the world through Jesus Christ.”
