Lions Club Dimapur, Japfu undertakes tree plantation drive on July 27
Kohima, July 29 (MExN): The Lions Club Dimapur, Japfu organised a mega tree plantation activity on July 27 at Green Park, Dimapur, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and community service.
The event was graced by District Governor Dr Neena Dutta, alongside Sumita Sharma (GST Co-ordinator) and Kakheli Zhimomi (Cabinet Secretary). Guided by the District Governor, club members planted numerous trees across the park premises.
In an effort to involve the public, the club also distributed free tree saplings to passersby to promote a greener and healthier future.
The Club President Chibeni Ngullie expressed gratitude to the District Governor and thanked all club members for their active involvement in making this community-driven environmental initiative a grand success.
