Tripura, February 4 (MExN): Fifteenth edition of ICARIA, techno-culture festival of ICFAI University was held from January 31 to February 3.
The festival was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University, Prof (Dr) Biplab Halder along with other dignitaries Pranabendu Das, Chief General Manager, ONGC Tripura Asset, Biswajit Debbarma, General Manager of GAIL Tripura and Dr T K Maity, Principal of College of Agriculture.
The three day-four night fest highlights were inaugural night, culture night, celebrity night and DJ night and culture & technical events and other skill competitions, stated an update received here.
Various schools and colleges students from Tripura and other NE states participated in the competitions. Participations of little school children’s in various skill competitions were an extra attraction of the festival.
On February 2, Bollywood playback singer Yasser Desai performed at the celebrity night. The whole programme was live telecasted through ICFAI YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. On February 3, celebrity DJ- Sartek played after the fashion show and valedictory programme.
Loken Das, General Manager, NABARD was present in the valedictory programme as chief guest and Banani Debbarman, Director (Commercial) of TNGCL as guest of honour. It ended with the vote of thanks by Dr A Ranganath, Registrar, ICFAI University.
