A free medical health camp was conducted at Tsiepfutsiepfe (AG) Colony, Kohima on July 25 under the initiative of MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso.

The health camp offered a comprehensive range of free healthcare services, including general physician consultations, specialist consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, blood tests, ultrasound services, ENT screening, dental check-ups, cervical cancer screening (Pap smear), and distribution of free medicines.

In addition, home service was also offered for bedridden and elderly patients. The initiative aims to promote healthy community and better future.

Around 200 persons availed the medical services.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council general secretary Vilekho Bio while Malol Neikha, Deacon CRC Tsiepfütsiepfhe invoked God’s blessings. KMC councilor Ketousie Khamo delivered welcome address.

Meanwhile, Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council expressed sincere gratitude to Dr Ato and the medical team for conducting such medical camp for the residents of Tsiepfutsiepfe.
