Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): The body of an unidentified man was found near a footbridge at Dimapur Railway Station on Tuesday. The police were alerted about the body by the Station Manager of NF Railway, Dimapur, on October 7, stated an update from Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, Dimapur, Nagaland.
The duty party proceeded to the spot and found one unidentified non-local male, aged around 40 years, lying dead beneath the footbridge near the LMG end of Platform No. 1, the police officer said.
After completing legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased is described as being about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a dark complexion and a black mole on his chest. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black half-pant, and red slippers at the time of discovery.
