DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 19 (MExN): United NGOs Mission Manipur requested all the organization to call off any blockade in any part of Manipur, at the earliest. U.Nobokishore, Secretary, UNMM in a press statement said that the entire population is suffering from not being able to afford the essential commodities like medicine, food items etc as a result of the 80 days blockade and 60 days counter blockade.
UNMM has also appealed the Government of India and Government of Manipur to take necessary steps and end the crisis at the earliest. It further stated that UNMM has full faith that their request will be responded positively.
