Jakhama | August 28 : Vilhousielie from Kohima College, Kohima has been elected as the new president of All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) for the tenure 2011-2013. The election for new team of ANCSU executive council was held today during its 15th biennial general conference at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama.
Election Commission Limaakum Jamir administered oath to the new team at the valedictory session while election certificate was given away by chief guest Lalthara, Chief Secretary, Nagaland.
President-elect Vilhousielie in his brief speech assured to do his best for the welfare of the students community. He also sought cooperation from each and every individual to stand and work together.
Others elected to the executive council of ANCSU included; vice president- Tsukjem Lkr (Dimapur Govt. College), general secretary- Kivigho K. Yepthomi (Mount Olive College, Kohima), assistant general secretary- Petekhrietuo (Kohima College Kohima), finance secretary- Zavecuyi Khamo ( Pfutsero Govt College), education secretary- Mhathung Jami (St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama), information and publicity secretary – Mughato Kiba (Unity College Dimapur), magazine secretary- Tomito V. Shohe ( City College of Arts & Commerce), social and culture secretary- Medemkaba (People’s College, Mokokchung), games & sports secretary- Himahito G. Sumi (Eastern Christian College), women coordinator – Toni H. Aye (SD Jain Girls College Dimapur), Speaker- Atopu Achumi (Salt Christian College), Deputy Speaker- Kekhwepre Tsuhah (Phek Govt College), assembly secretary- Talitoshi (Fazl Ali College Mokokchung) and auditor general- Savilie Kire (Alder College, Kohima)
