Bhandari, April 13 (MExN): Wearing of masks has been made mandatory for the public of Bhandari sub-division, under Wokha district with ‘immediate effect.’
The Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, Tiameren Chang today issued an order stating that wearing masks has been made mandatory for the public of Bhandari sub division as a measure for for prevention and containment of COVID-19, a DIPR reported informed.
The order comes into immediate effect as “Bhandari sub division is placed on high alert with positive cases having been reported from the neighbouring Golaghat district of Assam,” the report said.
He also issued directive on regulation on essential commodities with a prescribed quantity permissible for purchase by a family per day for strict adherence by the public, it added.
