Dimapur, October 8 (NNN): The NSCN (IM) directed and cautioned that they will never allow the dead body of Wungnaoshang Keishing, Phungyar MLA to be buried in ‘Nagalim’. The NSCN (IM) termed the MLA as ‘Anti-Naga’ and stated that on several occasions, they tried to understand Wungnaoshang Keishing and work together with him. But instead of understanding each other and working together, he rather misinformed the Naga people for his own selfish interest," the NSCN (IM) said in a press communiqué today.
The Naga group alleged Wungnaoshang Keishing of betraying the decision and the “cause of the Naga people” by being an accomplice to Ibobi’s anti-Naga political game. The NSCN (IM) further alleged "Without standing on the rights of the Naga people, Wungnaoshang Keishing supported the Kukis and the Meiteis who are attempting to divide the Naga homeland by creating Sadar Hills district". It further added that traitors like Wungnaoshang Keishing can never be tolerated in Naga society and that those who defy the order shall be held responsible for the consequences. NSCN (IM) also warned by stating that the same fate waits for those who walk in similar path.
