Commissioner and secretary Health and Family Welfare Menukhol John flagging off the bicycle expedition to be carried out by two young Naga lads Sievituo Solo and Ruokuo Kire.
Kohima, October 11 (MExN): Discover Nagaland on Bicycle –“Shield the identity”, carried out by two young Nagas- Sievituo Solo and Ruokuo Kire, who will be on their bicycle to cover the state was flagged on Tuesday here by Commissioner and secretary Health and Family Welfare Menukhol John.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony Menuokhol John lauded the two young Nagas adventurer for taking the bold step to travel across the districts and thanked the sponsor’s and the NAC for providing the necessary help. He also appealed to two to give motivational talks at the district head quarters during their journey and wished both all success in their journey.
Sharing his story –“Bag Packing Story”, Sievituo Solo said that the bicycle journey was not for fame or money, but it was his dream to travel to kook and corner of the state, which he always aspire. He also thanked all those who have come forward to help him and his partner in the bicycle journey. Earlier the president of NAC KK Paul Rutsa chaired the function said that journey by the two is expected to take 49 days to cover the whole 11 districts and expected to reach back Kohima on December 1 and is sponsored by Captain Rena Ezung and Ababe Ezung and the management crew is supported by Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC).
The invocation prayer was given by Rev. Dr. DL Sanchu, Executive Secretary ACRCC. Meanwhile the journey route both will take are Kohima –Pfutsero–Meluri- Akhegho-Kiphire -Tuesang –Tobu - Mon-Aboi- Longleng –Mokokchung –Lumami – Zunheboto –Wokha- Doyang – Bhandari –Dimapur–Peren – Benrau –Poilwa-Dzulakie –Kohima.
