Imphal, August 31 (MExN): The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) today welcomed one, ZD Bonn Gangmei into the fold of the establishment. In a press release issued by the Department of Information and Publicity ZUF, it stated that Gangmei is “one of the outstanding Naga National leaders and former Executive Member, Steering Committee, NSCN (IM). The ZUF cadres “repose much faith in his potentiality and hope for the furtherance of various missions and flagship programmes of the Front,” it added. According to the release, Gangmei joined the NSCN (IM) in 1993 and later inducted as the Deputy Kilonser (Trade & Commerce). He also held Kilonser (Cabinet Minister) for War Victims post. He reportedly resigned from NSCN (IM) on July 29.
