Clark Theological College (CTC) celebrated a milestone with its 50th Graduation Ceremony held at the college’s Multi Court, on Sunday, where 132 students were conferred their degrees and diplomas. This Golden Jubilee Convocation marked a cumulative total of 2,516 alumni who have graduated from the esteemed institution since its inception.
The highlight of the event was the graduation address delivered by Bishop Dr. Anilkumar John Servand, who exhorted the graduates to be agents of change in a transforming world. “Each one of you must serve in any ministry with accountability, devotion, courage, and faithfulness,” he said, encouraging the students to uphold the values of Clark Theological College in all their future endeavors.
The degrees and diplomas were officially conferred by Rev. Dr. Meyu Changkiri, Chairman of the CTC Board of Governors. The graduating batch included 2 Doctor of Theology (D.Th) students, 34 Master of Theology (M.Th) graduates, 89 Bachelor of Divinity (B.D) graduates, and 7 graduates in the Diploma in Church Music Ministry program.
Awards and special certificates were presented to meritorious students by Principal Dr. A. Temjen Jamir, recognizing academic excellence and commitment to ministry.
The student’s response was delivered by representatives of the graduating class: Rev. Wanboklang Shylla (D.Th), Senaienla (M.Th), and Kushen K. (B.D). They shared their reflections, gratitude, and the profound impact CTC has had on their spiritual and academic journey.
The convocation concluded with a closing hymn, prayer, and benediction by Bishop Dr. Anilkumar John Servand. The event was attended by distinguished guests, faculty members, alumni, families, and the graduating students.
