Winners of Mr & Miss Zoommax Beat Contest with others during the 15th edition of Zoommax held at RCEMPA Jotsoma on March 27 and 28.
Kohima, April 7 (MExN): The 15th edition of Zoommax, annual management fest organised by the Department of Management, Nagaland University was held under the theme ‘Unfolding the Enigma of Talent’ at RCEMPA Jotsoma on March 27 and 28.

Drawing a footfall of over 1200 attendees, the event saw participation from eight colleges across the state, six departments from Nagaland University, and students from Dimapur district, Mokokchung, and even neighbouring Assam state, stated a press release received here.

The welcome address was delivered by Prof KD Singh, Head of Department of Management, followed by remarks from Seyiengol Viswentso, Convenor of the 15th Zoommax. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Ruovilhoukho Chuzho, Founder and Proprietor, The Naga Feather.

Students participated in a diverse range of events including: Business Plan, Cultural Fair, Business Quiz, Mad Ads, Voice of Zoommax, Dance Till Dawn, Sketch It Out, Photography Contest, Case Study, Mock Interview, Mr & Miss Zoommax Beat Contest.
Highlight of day two was Beat Contest, where 11 bands battled it out on stage. Stereo Groove from Mokokchung District emerged as the champions. Tsungchilong Jamir from Kohima Science College won the title of Mr Zoommax, while Khetili Kath from Kohima College was crowned Miss Zoommax.

The crowd was treated to a live performance by the guest band Trance Effect. The closing ceremony featured speech by Prof Ditalak Mpanme, Assistant Professor, Department of Management and Zoommax Advisor and vote of thanks by Thinoselie Kevin Kuotsu, Co-convener of the 15th Zoommax.
