Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): The 16th A/c Pfutsero ACCC had submitted a list of 1,883 applicants to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pfutsero, on June 14, 2010 requesting for issue of Ration Cards to avail the APL, BPL and AAY schemes. A press note issued by Hünetsü Vero, president, and Neikhape Nekru, general secretary (Admin) ACCC, 16th Pfutsero Assembly Constituency stated that however, till date, the authority concerned has failed to issue the ration cards.
“Therefore, we were compelled to issue an ultimatum to the ADC Pfutsero on March 2, 2011 that if the authority concerned failed to issue the ration cards by March 31, 2011, we would stage a ‘dharna’ to protest the inaction. Moreover, this ‘dharna’ will continue till the ration cards are issued,” stated the note.
