Maligaon, July 30 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced additional changes in train services, including cancellation and rescheduling of several express trains, as restoration work continues near New Harangajao station in the Lumding-Badarpur Hill Section following settlement of railway tracks on Line-1 and Line-2.
Train operations are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place, an NFR release said.
Train No. 15615 (Guwahati-Silchar) Express commencing journey on July 31 and Train No. 15616 (Silchar-Guwahati) Express commencing journey on August 1 have been cancelled.
Several trains have been rescheduled for July 31. Train No. 20507 (Sairang-Anand Vihar Terminal) Rajdhani Express will now depart at 21:10 hrs, while Train No. 15650 (Narangi-Agartala) Express will depart at 22:30 hrs.
Train No. 15610 (Sairang-Guwahati) Express, Train No. 15609 (Guwahati-Sairang) Express, Train No. 15649 (Agartala-Narangi) Express and Train No. 15611 (Rangiya-Silchar) Express have all been rescheduled to depart at 23:30 hrs.
Train No. 15612 (Silchar-Rangiya) Express has been rescheduled to depart at 05:00 hrs on August 1.
