Kigwema Students Union and Saptiqa FC Zunheboto today entered the pre-quarter finals of the ongoing 19th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2018 here.
Kigwema Students' Union blanked Viphoma M17 5-0 Shürhotole Pfükha scored the first goal in the 23rd minute while Vichüto Phira and Rokuosato Thorie took alternate turns to score two goals each in the 37th, 51st, 53rd & 63rd minutes.
In another match of the day, Saptiqa FC defeated Seiyhazou Hill Boys FC 6-0.
Displaying real sporting skills, Kakhevi of Saptiqa FC, Zunheboto scored five goals. He scored the first and second goal in the 25th & 31st minute while the third goal was converted through a spot kick in the 33rd minute. Vinoka intercepted the scoreline with the fourth goal in the 44th minute, after which Kakhevi went on to score the 5th & 6th goals in the 54th & 56th minutes.
Saptiqa FC will now play against Kigwema Students' Union in the next round on October 13 at 12:00 noon.
