Winners with dignitaries at 1st Baulkline Open Snooker Tournament 2025.
Kohima, August 17 (MExN): The 1st Baulkline Open Snooker Tournament 2025 under aegis of Baulkline Club Kohima was held from August 14 to 16.
The three-day event witnessed the participation of 58 players from different parts of the state.
This tournament marked a new milestone for cue sports enthusiasts in the state and highlighted the growing popularity of snooker as a competitive and engaging sport.
Rukusato Khusoh bagged the champion title and awarded with Rs. ₹40,000.
Nzan Tungoe stood runner -up and received ₹20,000.
Losing semi-finalists Puloko and Beizo Solo received ₹5000 each.
Tokugha. N. Chishi, Beizo Solo and Matthew secured Highest Break Point and awarded with ₹5000 each.
The closing ceremony was graced by KMC councillor George Vizokhoto Kirha as the special guest.
Kirha appreciated the initiative of Baulkline Club in promoting the sport of snooker in Nagaland.
Bendangwati Longkumer presented special number while vote of thanks was proposed by E. Krelo, president, Baulkline Club.
