Sangzi FC edge past Ngangpong FC into final
TUENSANG, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): Sangzi FC eked out a 1-0 win over Ngangpong FC on Monday and into the final of the 25th Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship at Tuensang. Egged on by a raucous crowd, pressure was on both teams in the first semi-final of the tournament. The first half failed to produce any goals but Sangzi found the breakthrough in the 54th minute. Francis connected with a beautiful cross to head home the winning goal.
