Twenty XI FC wins, Khriekesa FC & Sechu Zubza FC draw

Twenty XI FC today registered a win over Vanguard FC while a match between Khriekesa FC and Sechü Zubza FC ended in a 1-1 draw on the day-two of the 2nd Kohima Football League here at Kohima Local Ground.  

In the first match of the day, Twenty XI FC downed Vanguard FC 2 – 1 and secured 3 points.  

Twenty XI FC took the lead 1-0 till the first half through Apotso Rhetso in the 35th minute. Vanguard FC found the equalizer through Yhumshalo Kemp in the 73rd minute.  

A minute later, Viho Kin netted another goal for Twenty FC, confirming its victory against the rival 2-1.  

The second match between Khriekesa FC and Sechü Zubza FC ended in 1-1 draw.   Vekhrüto Resu opened the account for Khriekesa FC in the 53rd minute.  

The much needed equalizer goal for Sechü Zubza FC came through the boot of Laloureiyang Aloumei in the 63rd minute.  

Both the team were awarded a point each.   Kovi Meyase, Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland graced the day-2 of KFL as the match patron.
