Kohima, August 31 (MExN): A 7-member team from the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) - 5 wrestlers & 2 officials were part of the Indian National Team who departed to participate at the 3rd World Nomad Games 2018 at Kyryzstan on August 31.
According to NWA General Secretary, Vekhozo, the 5 wrestlers include - Vechita Khesoh, Keduovilie Zumu, Venuzo Dawhuo, Visedelhou Chasi and Neiphretuo Zhanyi, while NWA President Neivikuolie Khatsa and General Secretary Vekhozo were part of the official team India.
The 5 Naga wrestlers are part of the 25-member Indian contingent who will be participating in the Belt Wrestling event.
The Indian contingent departed to Kyrgyzstan on August 31 from New Delhi and will be back to India by September 10.
The NWA in a press note urged the Nagas to uphold in prayers, the Indian contingent in general and the NWA team in particular.
