PHEK, OCTOBER 1 (MExN): The 7th Phek District Inter Departmental Badminton championship 2018 concluded at Phek Badminton Stadium on September 29 with Phek Superintendent of Police Muthasuyi, NPS as the guest speaker.
Addressing the gathering, the SP thanked the participants for giving their best in the sporting spirit and cooperation throughout the tournament and called upon the participants to give their best even in coming tournament. He also called upon the gathering to give their best effort which will help in physical fitness.
The winners of the tournament were Tokavi & Vekudulu, DEF, Phek as a first in the mixed Doubles while Setichem & Chizokholu took in the second position, from Phek Government College Solo & Dr. Atoholi adjourned in the third place. In the women’s doubles-WD, Vekutholu & Vezosulu from administration department took away first position while Chizokholu & Lezote of 5th NAP were placed in the in the second position. Ale & Azenuo of Health & F/M were stood third position.
In the Men’s Doubles Setichem & Vikehie of 5th NAP was placed in the first Position while Kekhrozulo & Razhukhrie of Education Department stood second position in the third Place K.Zeliang & Tokavi of DEF Phek.
